Grapeseed oil (Vitis vinifera) has a slight astringent nature with antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant properties. Grapeseed is nourishing, strengthening and support collagen and elasticity in the dermal layer. This oil is highly absorbent without a greasy feel. Grapeseed contains vitamin E, Omega 6 and 9 fatty acids. We use only cold-pressed grapeseed oil in our Essential oil blends.
Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) originates from Sicily, cold-pressed from the fruit’s peel has sweet, fruity citrus aroma with spicy tones. Helps restore calm and can be useful with general stress and anxiety.
Copaiba (Copaifera spp.) is a rain forest tree, native to the Amazon region. This oil comes from the resin of these trees. It has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antimicrobial properties. With its woody, warming aroma Copaiba is a great addition to our remedy.
Frankincense (Boswellia spp.) place of origin Somalia, Ethiopia, Oman. This oil is one the most precious of ancient oils. Is used around the world in religious practice and ceremony. This well know oil comes from the hardened resin of the tree via steam distillation. Frankincense is a special oil that can be used internally as part of self-selection or specific medical condition under the care of professionals. Promotes overall well-being by supporting the nervous, musculoskeletal and respiratory systems and the skin. Frankincense releases grief and stress related tension. It also helps dogs balancing out emotions around palliative care for both dog and owner.
Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) an evergreen bush with various shades of purple flowers, can be found in many countries, like Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Hungary, Russia, Tasmania and United Kingdom. The plant is harvested in midsummer, left to dry to maximise the aroma, then distilled. Lavender has a soft, floral aroma. The emotional aspects of the Lavender include dogs who are stressed and frustrated with little patience. May also help with noise sensivity and fear.
Vetiver (Vetiveria zizanoides) a type of long aromatic grass with stiff, thin leaves and fragrant roots. Harvesting takes place every 18 month. Grows in Madagascar, Indonesia, Haiti, India, Sri Lanka, Paraguay. Roots are dug up, cleaned and dried in the shade before steam distillation. Vetiver is a golden-brown liquid with a deep, earthy aroma. Indication that a dog would benefit from this essential oil is anxiety with an agitated nature. Dogs that are hyper and might be aggressive.
Please, do not use on puppies under 16 weeks of age.
How to use on your dog:
Let your dog sniff unopened bottle before intend to use. Blend can be offered simply from opened bottle for inhalation purposes (bottle must not touch their nose). For topical use, apply oil on your hands and rub them together, then pet your dog on neck, chest area and/or tips of the ears. It can also be used on dog bedding, bandana or on harness. Shake well before use.
Caution:
Possible skin sensitivity. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Avoid contact with eyes, inside of ears and sensitive areas. Do not apply to the skin prior to sun exposure. This product can not be guaranteed free form traces of nuts or other allergens. Store it in cool, dry place away from sunlight.
