Each oil in this remedy has its own effectiveness to help with different types of skin condition, so we put them all in a bottle for you to see the magic nature can offer. It can be a great addition to your dog’s first-aid kit. Renew comes in 3 different sizes, (small/medium/large) with different dilutions to make sure canines in all sizes can benefit from it.  

Grapeseed oil (Vitis vinifera) has a slight astringent nature with antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant properties. Grapeseed is nourishing, strengthening and support collagen and elasticity in the dermal layer. This oil is highly absorbent without a greasy feel. Grapeseed contains vitamin E, Omega 6 and 9 fatty acids. We use only cold-pressed grapeseed oil in our Essential oil blends.  

Carrot seed (Daucus carota) a wild-growing herbal plant with small white flowers. Grows in Egypt, France, India, Hungary. Seeds of the plants are dried and crushed before steam distillation. Carrot seed has a warm, woody aroma. There is a long history of medicinal use of carrot seed in Europe and Asia. Some of the beneficial properties of this oil are: antiseptic, calmative, detoxifying and wound healing. By topically applying in diluted form on to the skin help cellular regeneration. Note: Carrot seed should not be used on or around pregnant, lactating bitches (it can interfere with gestation).

Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum) also known as Everlasting. This plant has very small silvery leaves and clusters of yellow flowers. Mainly harvested in Bulgaria, Corsica, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Spain. Although, helichrysum has many varieties, only few produces essential oil. A light-yellow liquid with a warm, earthy, slightly sweet aroma comes from the plant’s flowers by steam distillation. Physical indications of this oil include most skin afflictions as it speeds healing of burns, scars and wounds. As a single, diluted oil can be applied for first-aid purposes for bleeding and painful wounds as it helps with pain and sanitises the wounds. An excellent addition to our remedy!

Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha) a small tree with oval leaves and with flowers. Grows in North-east Africa (Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan) and areas of Asia, (on the other side of the Red Sea). The oil comes from the trees resin via distillation and has a musty, earthy aroma. Myrrh was used by the ancient Egyptians for embalming, and was given to baby Jesus as gift. It has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, pain relieving and wound healing properties. This oil may also help with dermal dryness. Note: should not be applied on pregnant, lactating bitches

Please, do not use on puppies under 16 weeks of age and on pregnant, lactating bitches.

How to use on your dog:

Let your dog sniff unopened bottle before intend to use. Apply blend gently on the area where needed. Shake well before use.

Caution:  

Possible skin sensitivity. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Avoid contact with eyes, inside of ears and sensitive areas. This product can not be guaranteed free form traces of nuts or other allergens. Store it in cool, dry place away from sunlight.
