Tummy Aid

Grapeseed oil (Vitis vinifera) has a slight astringent nature with antibacterial, antifungal and antioxidant properties. Grapeseed is nourishing, strengthening and support collagen and elasticity in the dermal layer. This oil is highly absorbent without a greasy feel. Grapeseed contains vitamin E, Omega 6 and 9 fatty acids. We use only cold-pressed grapeseed oil in our Essential oil blends. 

Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) a herb with soft, feathery leaves and small yellow flowers. This plant originated from the Mediterranean area but now grows all over the world. The oil comes from the dried seeds of the plant via steam distillation. Fennel has sweet, peppery aroma and very beneficial because of its anti-inflammatory, carminative, depurative properties. Note: should not be used on pregnant, lactating bitches. Best avoid if your dog in on medication.   

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) a herb grown rhizome (horizontally growing underground stem). After harvest, the rhizomes are dried, crushed, dried again then distilled. Native in China, India, Sri Lanka. In Asia, ginger is considered highly medicinal. This oil has a warm, spicy aroma. Ginger is used by humans as food, drink and to maintain healthy digestion. There is no surprise that it can also be helpful for animals with its analgesic, antiseptic and immune modulating properties. This oil has very warming energetics and can cause irritation on sensitive skin. 

Spearmint (Mentha spicata) has aromatic leaves and flowering tops. Oil extracted through steam distillation of partially dried plant. This plant grows in China, Hungary, Spain, Russia, United States. Spearmint has a soft, mint aroma and may be beneficial if your dog has nausea, flatulence, stomach ache, diarrhea or digestive upset. It also promotes healthy metabolism.   

Please, do not use on puppies under 16 weeks of age and on pregnant, lactating bitches. Best to avoid the blend if your dog is on medication.
